Website creation is only part of the job Smug Studios undertakes to getting your business online, the website also needs to be hosted online so your customers can access it.
What is hosting?
Hosting is the storing of your website and email accounts on a server, much like storeing files on your home computer but these servers are constantly availible online. Some hosting companies will limit the amount of information that can be dowloaded per month, however Smug Studios does not. This means no matter how busy your business may become Smug Studios is ready for it.
How much does hosting cost me?
Hosting your website costs £40.00 per year, your first year with any Smug Studios website is free. When you initially sign up for your website you will be asked to agree to a PayPal subscription which will bill you annually using PayPal services. You can get your emails using an online email client, this is similar to using websites such as hotmail and google mail, this allows you to pick up your emails from anywhere. This is simply achieved by clicking Webmail at the top of the Smug Studios website.
How much will the email accounts cost me?
Having upto 3 email accounts are covered by a hosting account, this costs £40.00 per year, your first year is free with any Smug Studios website. Email accounts have a maximum size of 250mb each, each additional email account will cost £3 per year.
